Pearson had spent years exploring the future of education through research, strategy, and emerging technology. The next challenge was turning those ideas into a real product experience.

The company wanted to create an adaptive learning platform that could support teachers and learners across mobile, tablet, and desktop while serving both established and emerging markets.

We worked as an embedded design team alongside product leaders, educators, researchers, and technologists throughout the project.

Approach

The project began with a large body of research developed by Pearson and IDEO around the future of learning. Our role was to help turn those insights into a clear product direction and tangible user experience.

Working across mobile, tablet, and desktop, we designed a platform that balanced the everyday needs of teachers and students with the requirements of the institutions supporting them.
